Fox 'blasted for false weight loss tip'

Megan Fox has been blasted by health experts for endorsing a false and potentially harmful method of weight loss.

The Jennifer's Body actress was criticised for giving misleading advice after she revealed that she regularly drinks vinegar as part of her detox regime.

According to The Sun, the 23-year-old claimed: "It just cleanses you system entirely… I'm not one for exercising, because I'm lazy and have a really big sweet tooth, so I have to cleanse once in a while 'cause of the amount of sugar I take in."

However, nutritionists have since dismissed the tip - maintaining that drinking vinegar does not help weight loss.

Dietician Lucy Jones told OK!: "As attractive as it sounds, there is no magic pill, lotion or potion for a quick-fix to weight loss."
