I am not Ugly - Megan says

Transformer hottie Megan Fox admits she's "not ugly" and finds Hollywood's marketing her as a sex symbol "empowering."

She says being a sex symbol doesn't bother her. "I don't know why someone would complain about that. That just means that the bar has been set pretty low," she told Entertainment Weekly.

"People don't expect me to do anything that's worth watching. So I can only be an overachiever. I think all women in Hollywood are known as sex symbols. That's what our purpose is in this business. You're merchandised, you're a product. You're sold and it's based on sex. But that's okay. I think women should be empowered by that, not degraded."

Fox, who reprises her role as Mikaela Banes in Tranformers: Revenge of the Fallen later this month, said she can withstand accusations of being good-looking and knows how to use her mouth: ""Well, I'm clearly not ugly...I think most people are extremely insecure. As far as girls go, I have a really badass personality," she tells EW. "I'm smart and I can be really funny and interesting and I can go toe-to-toe with anybody in a conversation. So I'm not afraid to speak, and I think that's what people read as this uberconfidence. I have a mouth and I'm not afraid to use it."

As for media types comparing her to Angelina Jolie, that speaks more of the news jockeys than her: "I think it's a lack of creativity on the media's part. Because I have tattoos and dark hair and I was in an action movie? That's as far as the similarities extend. I'm not the next anyone."

Megan Fox the budget cuts comedian

AP
LOS ANGELES — Megan Fox and her sometime boyfriend, actor Brian Austin Green, are protesting California school budget cuts in a new video online.

In a video posted Wednesday on the comic Web site FunnyorDie.com, Fox urges viewers to "call, write and annoy the governor until he cries for his mommy."

She says more than $17 billion has been cut from state educational programs over the past two years, and Green says the "terminators in Sacramento" plan to cut another $2.5 billion.

State Superintendent of Public Instruction Jack O'Connell said last month that budget cuts have caused a 17 percent jump in the number of school districts facing financial uncertainty.

Fox and Green's 3 1/2-minute video had been viewed more than 66,500 times by Wednesday afternoon.

Megan Fox Is A Teacher?

Here’s the hottest celebrity babe on the planet, Megan Fox, flexing her political activist muscles and totally giving it to Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger in a brand spanking new Funny or Die video. I’m not sure why this video is on Funny or Die, because it deals with a pretty serious topic, and isn’t very funny. Hell, Megan’s boyfriend (echh!) Brian Austin Green even shows up in the video. Anyways, what you should do is watch it once to get the important message, and then watch it one more time and totally focus on Megan Fox being mistaken for a smoking hot teacher. Enjoy!
